This 1980s master bathroom had carpet in front of the vanity, a toilet right in front of the door, a shower that felt like a closet, and a bathtub that no longer served this couple. It was time for a complete rethink. We removed the shower walls to open up the space, took out the tub, and relocated the toilet for privacy. The old ceiling texture was removed for a clean, modern finish. Floors were leveled and tiled throughout, and a storage tower was added where the tub once stood. New cabinetry with custom roll-out drawers, Cambria quartz countertops, and Hansgrohe fixtures in matte black brought this bathroom into the present — and made it the room in the house the homeowners now enjoy the most.
